1. Acceptance of Terms

by booking a ride or using any of our service(s), you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions in full.  please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the services. your access and use of the services constitute your agreement to be bound by these terms, which establishes a contractual relationship between you and Vows Rides. if you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the services. Vows Rides may immediately terminate these terms or any services with respect to you or generally cease offering or deny access to the services or any portion thereof, at any time for any reason. supplemental terms may apply to certain services, such as policies for a particular event, activity, or promotion, and such supplemental terms will be disclosed to you in connection with the applicable services. supplemental terms are in addition to and shall be deemed a part of, the terms for the purposes of the applicable services. supplemental terms shall prevail over these terms in the event of a conflict with respect to the applicable services. Vows Rides may amend the terms related to the services from time to time. amendments will be effective upon Vows Rides’s posting of such updated terms at this location or the amended policies or supplemental terms on the applicable service. your continued access or use of the services after such posting constitutes your consent to be bound by the terms, as amended.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date and recommending that users review the Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

3. Services Provided

Vows World Service | Vows Rides offers transportation services for passengers. Our Services are designed to provide safe, reliable transportation. Our services may include but are not limited to

  • On-demand rides
  • Pre-scheduled rides
  • Airport Transportation
  • Special event transportation
  • Out Station
  • Ambulance

4. User Obligations

Users must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account information.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms and Conditions when using our Services.
  • Compliance with applicable law, as a user, you are mandated to adhere to all relevant statutes, regulations, and legal principles governing intellectual property rights, data protection, and cybersecurity. Such compliance is imperative to uphold the integrity of our shared resources.
  • Users are obliged to utilize Vows Rides resources solely for lawful purposes that are commensurate with the objectives set forth by our governing policies. Any degradation of the system’s functionality through actions including, but not limited to, excessive bandwidth consumption, dissemination of malicious software, or unauthorized access attempts shall be deemed a breach of this policy.
  • Users must exercise diligence in safeguarding all data that is entrusted to them within the CAB infrastructure. You are prohibited from disclosing sensitive or proprietary information without requisite authorization, and it is your obligation to maintain the confidentiality of such data.

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy

To schedule a ride, users must use our mobile application or website. When booking a ride, you are required to provide:

  • Pick-up location
  • Drop-off location
  • Desired time of ride
  • Passenger details

Cancellation Policy: 

  • Cancellation Fees: A cancellation fee may be charged if you cancel a ride after a driver-partner has accepted your request. The fee is intended to compensate driver-partners for their time and effort.
  • Free Cancellation Period: You can cancel a ride without incurring a cancellation fee within a specified time window after a driver-partner has accepted your request. This window varies by city and service type.
  • Driver partner  Cancellation: If a driver-partner cancels the ride, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. However, repeated cancellations by driver-partners may be monitored, and appropriate action may be taken.
  • No-Show Policy: If a driver-partner arrives at the pick-up location and you are not present or reachable, the driver-partner may cancel the ride after a waiting period, and you may be charged a cancellation fee.
  • Repeated Cancellations: Frequent cancellations may lead to temporary or permanent suspension of your account to ensure fair access to services for all users.
  • Refund Policy: If you believe you were incorrectly charged a cancellation fee, you can contact customer support for a review. Refunds may be issued at the discretion of the service provider.
  • Peak Time Adjustments: Cancellation policies and fees may vary during peak hours, special events, or in high-demand areas. These adjustments will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
  • Special Circumstances: In cases of emergencies, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events, cancellation fees may be waived. Contact customer support for assistance in such.

6. Payment Terms

Payments for our Services are processed via Cash or UPI. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the provided payment method for any fees associated with your ride. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise specified.

Driver partner  Payment Terms

  • Service Fees:
    All fares for rides will be calculated based on distance, duration, and any applicable surcharges (such as peak time surcharges, tolls, or other fees). Fares will be clearly displayed to the driver partners before ride acceptance.
  • Payment Settlement Cycle:
    Payments will be settled on a weekly basis, which will be calculated from start day through to end day of the same week. All applicable earnings, including bonuses and incentives earned throughout the week, will be included in this settlement.
  • Bonus & Incentives:
    Driver-partners may be eligible for various bonuses and incentives based on performance, such as completing a certain number of rides, maintaining high ratings, or participating in promotional campaigns. These amounts will be clearly indicated in the payout summary.
  • Dispute Resolution:
    In the event of discrepancies regarding fares, bonuses, or fees, driver-partners can submit a dispute within 15 days of the closing of the settlement period. All disputes will be reviewed and resolved within 7 business days of submission, with timely communication regarding the resolution process.
  • Late Payments:
    In the unlikely event of a delayed payment, driver-partners will be notified via email, and payment will be expedited to ensure no one is left waiting unduly.
  • Refund Policy:
    If a customer disputes charges or requires a refund for any reason related to the ride, our customer service team will handle inquiries in compliance with our refund policy, which considers all applicable factors, including the situation’s specific circumstances.
  • Amendments to Payment Terms:
    Changes to these payment terms will be communicated 2 days in advance via email/message and will take effect in the next billing cycle following the announcement.

8. Driver Partner’s Responsibilities

Passenger Safety:

  • Ensure the safety of passengers during the journey.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a calm and composed, especially in challenging driving conditions.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Regularly check and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
  • Perform routine checks on brakes, tires, oil levels, lights, and other essential components.

Customer Service:

  • Provide a polite, friendly, and professional service to passengers.
  • Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage.
  • Respond to passengers’ inquiries and provide information about routes and destinations.

Navigation:

  • Use GPS and navigation tools to choose the best routes to destinations.
  • Stay updated on road conditions, traffic patterns, and potential delays.
  • Adapt routes as necessary to ensure timely arrival.

Time Management:

  • Manage time efficiently to pick up and drop off passengers promptly.
  • Monitor and adhere to the schedules provided by the cab service app or dispatch.

Financial Transactions:

  • Handle payment transactions, including cash and digital payments.
  • Manage and report earnings accurately.

Adherence to Company Policies:

  • Follow the guidelines and policies set by the Vows Rides (e.g., dress code, conduct, use of the app).
  • Maintain a high rating by providing excellent service and ensuring passenger satisfaction.

Problem-Solving:

  • Handle any disputes or issues that arise during the trip professionally.
  • Manage situations involving difficult or unruly passengers calmly and effectively.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all necessary licenses, permits, and insurance are up to date.
  • Undergo regular training and assessments as required by the Vows Rides

Record Keeping:

Keep accurate records of trips, earnings, and expenses.

Report any incidents or accidents to the company and relevant authorities promptly.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, cab driver partners contribute to a positive experience for passengers and help maintain the reputation and efficiency of the Vows Rides services.

9. Passenger’s Responsibilities

Passengers also have responsibilities to ensure a safe, respectful, and efficient experience for both themselves and the driver-partner. Here are some key responsibilities for passengers using a cab service:

Respectful Behaviour:

  • Treat the driver partners with respect and courtesy.
  • Avoid disruptive, abusive, or aggressive behavior.

Timely Arrival:

  • Be ready for pick-up at the designated time and location.
  • Notify the driver partner promptly if there are any changes or delays.

Clear Communication:

  • Provide accurate pick-up and drop-off locations.
  • Communicate any special requests or needs clearly.

Safety Compliance:

  • Wear seat belts at all times.
  • Follow any safety instructions given by the driver-partner.
  • Avoid distracting the driver partner while the vehicle is in motion.

Hygiene and Cleanliness:

  • Keep the vehicle clean and avoid making a mess.
  • Dispose of trash properly and take personal belongings when exiting the vehicle.

Respect for Property:

  • Treat the vehicle with care and avoid causing damage.
  • Report any accidental damage to the driver partner  immediately.

Payment and Tipping:

  • Ensure payment is made promptly and accurately.
  • Tip the driver partner  if desired, based on the service received.

Compliance with Laws and Policies:

  • Follow all local laws and regulations, including those related to smoking, alcohol, and drug use in the vehicle.
  • Adhere to the cab service provider’s policies and guidelines.

Child Safety:

  • Ensure children are properly secured in appropriate child safety seats if required by law.
  • Supervise children at all times during the trip.

Emergency Situations:

  • In case of an emergency, remain calm and follow the driver partner’s instructions.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the cab service provider promptly.

By adhering to these responsibilities, passengers contribute to a positive and safe experience for both themselves and the driver-partner.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Vows Rides reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger or terminate a ride for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Intoxication or illegal drug use
  • Disrespectful or abusive behaviour towards driver-partner.
  • Failure to comply with safety regulations

11. Insurance and Liability

Vows Rides carries commercial auto liability insurance as required by law. While we take safety seriously, we are not liable for any incidents that occur during the transport services that are not caused by our driver partner s or our negligence.

12. Complaints and Disputes

  • Refusal to submit to drug and alcohol testing will result in disciplinary action,
    up to and including termination.

Consequences for Violations

  • Violation of the Drug and Alcohol Policy may result in disciplinary action,
    including suspension or termination of employment.
  • Drivers found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty
    will be immediately removed from driving responsibilities and subject to
    investigation.

  • Vows World encourages drivers facing substance abuse issues to seek confidential
    support through employee assistance programs (EAPs) or counseling
    services.
  • Rehabilitation and treatment options may be available to employees seeking
    assistance for substance abuse issues.
    Compliance: All drivers must comply with the Drug and Alcohol Policy to maintain a safe and
    productive work environment. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action, up to
    and including termination of employment or contractual relationship. These policies
    provide clear guidelines for drivers at Vows World to follow, ensuring safety, professionalism,

    Drivers are required to comply with the Emergency Response and Crisis Management
    Policy to ensure prompt, effective responses to emergency situations while maintaining
    passenger safety and operational continuity. Non-compliance may result in corrective
    action, including retraining or disciplinary measures.

The Safety and Accident Reporting

The policy outlines procedures for maintaining a safe work environment, reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly, and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.

  • Immediately report any accidents involving a Vows Rides vehicle to emergency
    services and the driver support team.
  • Provide accurate details of the accident, including location, vehicle damage,
    and injuries sustained.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.

Incident and Near Miss Reporting

  • Report any incidents or near misses that occur during driving duties, such
    as close calls, aggressive driving incidents, or road hazards.
  • Document details of the incident, including date, time, location, and
    circumstances.
  • Submit incident reports to the driver support team within the designated
    timeframe.

Post-Accident Procedures

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all involved parties, including
    passengers and pedestrians.
  • Follow Vows Rides post-accident protocols, including completing accident report
    forms and submitting necessary documentation.
  • Adhere to any medical or legal requirements resulting from the accident.

Follow-Up Actions

  • Vows Rides will conduct a thorough investigation of all reported accidents and
    incidents.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences based on
    investigation findings.
  • Provide support to affected drivers, including counseling or additional
    training if needed.

    Drivers are required to comply with the Safety and Accident Reporting Policy to ensure the
    safety of themselves, passengers, and others on the road. Non-compliance may result in
    disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
